Our Teams:
Saturday 1st XI Adult Cricket Team plays in the T-Rippon Mid Essex League (Premier Division) and the National Village Cup
Saturday 2nd XI Adult Cricket Team plays in the T-Rippon Mid Essex League (Division 4)
Saturday 3rd XI Adult Cricket Team plays in the Herts and Essex Border League (Division 1)
Sunday XI Mixed Adult Team plays a series of Friendly games throughout the season
High Roding Rogues play in the Chelmsford Last Man Stands (LMS) 8-a-side T20 League
Ladies and Girls team take part in various league and friendly matches throughout the season
In addition, we run several colts teams at various age groups as well as several indoor teams, including Over 40's and mixed teams.

VISION STATEMENT

To provide the best cricket experience for all members

MISSION STATEMENT

1. We will provide competitive cricket for all adults, colts and mini sections of the club.

2. We will provide excellent cricket facilities and coaching in a secure and friendly atmosphere of the club

3. To provide village cricket within a social and relaxed ambience in a picturesque countryside setting

4. We will continue to invest and improve our existing pavillion, ground and net facilities and plan to construct a new pavilion on the ground.

 


High Roding Cricket Club

  • Traditional family friendly village cricket club, close to Great Dunmow
  • A successful 1st XI in the Premier Division of the T Rippon League. Winners in 2010. Semi-finalists in the National Village KO Competition 2011
  • Provides a vibrant youth and mini section for boys and girls every Friday, often attracting over 100 young cricketers with coaching from ECB coaches, along with competitive age-matched fixture lists
  • Club is affiliated to England Cricket Board, Essex County Cricket Board & West Essex Cricket Board
  • Gold Award winners at Essex Playing Fields Association
  • An excellent batting square, highly commended by ECCB umpires and players
  • Licensed bar and food premises
  • A Presidents Day end of each summer
  • Provision of school cricket outside of school curriculum
  • ECB Clubmark Cricket Club
  • Five qualified and trained Child Welfare Officers, all committed to safeguarding children and young people
  • Regular social and fund raising events throughout the season
