High Roding Cricket Club Won By 17 runs

Match report The skipper lost the toss but for the 2nd week running we won the game. There is a pattern developing here!
Surprisingly we were asked to bat 1st but the wicket was tricky to bat on. Molloy 29, David 30 and Jeff 32 all batted sensibly. Gilf and Gus came together with the score at 140-4 after 25 overs. Gilf back to form with 40 and Gus with 48 not out made sure we set a competitive total of 243.
A much changed attack (none of the bowlers today bowled last week) all bowled really well. Harry picked up 2 wickets, including that of Woodham's star player. Kit and Jeff with 3 victims a piece kept the pressure on as we always felt in control despite a few dropped catches. Chris bowled a great opening spell only conceding 35 in his 10 overs and Gilf picked up a wicket in only his second bowl of the season.
So we are on a roll, no defeat in 3 and look forward to next week.
