Match report On a damp pitch, both sides agreed to play a 30 over-a-side match, to ensure a result.

After winning the toss, CSK decided to bat with a view of posting a big score, especially with one eye on the weather.

However, High Roding’s opening bowling pair Nad (6-2-20-1) and Amit (6-1-10-2), bowled a tight opening spell and ensured CSK’s top order batsmen did not get width to score runs. Will (5.5 – 1 – 20 -3), Tom (4-0-17-3) took crucial wickets, supported by some excellent bowling by Neil (5-1-19-1) and Freddie (3-0-21-0)

CSK was eventually scored 110 runs for the loss of their 10 wickets, after 29.5 overs.

With 111 to win, High Roding’s opening pair started well and put a 31-run partnership on a difficult wicket, followed by some excellent batting performances from Pasky (18) and Pilch (17). However, RMJ stole the show by a magnificent 50 runs, that ensured a comfortable 3 wickets win for High Roding.
