Match report After losing the toss, HR were asked to field on what looks like glorious day to play the game we all love.

South Loughton’s opening pair (probably the best we have faced this season) stared the game well with some aggressive batting, and put a partnership of 61 runs in the first 11 overs, despite some great bowling from HR.

HR battled back with some great bowling by Amit, Hart brothers and Adrian Nelson to limit the opposition to 170 for 8, after 40 overs.

In response, HR started well with both Tahir and Jilani (debutant) scoring a quick 34 runs off the first 5 overs. Unfortunately wickets fell on regular intervals, supported by some good spin bowling from the opposition.

HR found themselves 9 down, for 121 runs, in the 34th over. A quick 30 runs (off 18 balls) partnership between Amit and Nad took HR, within 21 needing from 18 balls. Unfortunately, it was a bit too much to ask, with HR bowling out for 151.

Even though we lost, we walked away with lot of positives; superb wicket keeping by Charlie, excellent bowling by Harts brothers and a great all round performance from Junior.
