High Roding Cricket Club Won By 159 runs

Match report Another win and another fabulous team effort.

Man of The Match: Andy Duke with a well crafted 149 opening the batting.

Play of The Day: Paul Welland's one handed slip catch diving to his left....awesome.

Thanks to Dave Mack (what a fielder!!) and Johnny Smith (super bowling) for making their HRCC debuts. You must come back for more.

Super bowling from Tom Shrager, who broke a stump with one of his balls, and some strong hitting (mind the windows!!) and hostile opening bowling from Harry.

Another miserly day from our super-colts, Will, George and Freddy. 13.1 overs 2 maidens for 41 runs and 5 wickets between them. Brilliant effort!!!

A final word about the Chairman, James, who struck a majestic 33 not out and batted with his son Will to get us to 305 in the last over.

.....the skipper is loving the commitment and effort from this team and has never enjoyed cricket so much. We are top of the table, playing well and having a lot of fun....let's keep marching on.
