Match report Excellent win yesterday in the rain on what could have been a frustrating day. Another good all round team effort.

Good knocks from Andy, Grant, Welly, Tom and Martin ( 10 not out on his return to the side - where has he been?) set up a decent target off 35 overs on a damp and difficult slow pitch. Top bowling from everyone...Pasky and Tom leading the way and the super-colts strike again 10-1-21-3....fantastic effort from Freddy (great debut) and George. Fielding was sound as well with some great catching...their best batters gave hard chances and we took them. Eddy Taylor's skier through the trees on the boundary was a stunner. The skipper made the tea with Andy and took 3 catches. We are up to 3rd in the table now.

Play of the Day - with storm clouds gathering and only 5 minutes remaining before a potential match ending downpour Welly bowls an absolute 'jaffa' with his first ball to take the batsman's outside edge for keeper, RP, to pouch the catch......game over and 26 points to HR 2nds
