Match report Great win and a great performance all round to a man. Thanks everyone for taking part today. The Duke setting the platform with a fine 40, and good hard hitting from Shrager and Pask did the damage to post a solid total, on a damp wicket. rain reduced 38 over game.

65 not out from just 15 overs (didnt you bat for almost twice that ed. and make less than half his total?!). And then came the showpiece.

an incredible and unseen before in any form of cricket by any of us:

5 wickets in 5 consecutive balls. just wow. just wowwwww!

ably assisted i have to say from some of the finest catching ive seen in many a year. for me Ben rayners catch in the deep won us the game. their opener had survived some close calls from LBWs and close catch opportunities.

Alistairs catch for the hat trick.. Georges catch in the slips and Andys catches in the covers were all superb.

simon olorenshaw in his first game bowled beautifully, and his mate Pilcher made an heroic catch to give him his first wicket.

a welcome return to the squad for the enigmatic Shrager, hopping around on one foot like Captain barnacle after a hard day at sea.
